| Documents | Yarrington and Rappertie ad, Williamsport, PA, Daily Gazette and Bulletin, 9 Feb 1883, p. 1. A.S. Rappertie temporarily moved from Victoria to Williamsport, PA, to open a photo studio with Henry Colt Yarrington (1835-1910) who had moved from Carbondale, PA, to Williamsport (Carbondale Leader, 17 Nov 1882, p. 2). | |
| Yarrington and Rappertie news, Williamsport, PA, Sunday Breakfast Table, 18 Feb 1883, p. 8. Two surprising reveals in this news account are that A.S. Rappertie had previously worked in San Francisco and Sacramento, and that his new photographic partnership with Henry Colt Yarrington (1835-1910) in Williamsport, PA, specialized in what sound suspiciously like the Gems of British Columbia by Mrs. R. Maynard's studio, his previous employer, except that the Pennsylvania portraits consisted of "persons of all ages and sizes." | ||
| A.S. Rappertie ad, Salem, OR, Daily Capital Journal, 19 Nov 1917, p. 7. This ad ran between 17 and 20 Nov 1917. He wished to trade his 30 acres for a smaller plot of farmland closer to Grants Pass, OR. | ||

| A.S. Rappertie news, Grants Pass Daily Courier, 26 Apr 1921, p. 5. Two years before his death this news report indicates he and his sister were committed to the mental hospital at Chattahoochee, FL. His sister's name is given as Mrs. Hunter. |
